Add the eggs one at a time while continuing to mix well. Then add the vanilla.
Mix the flour and salt mixture in a medium bowl, then slowly add them to the butter mixture
while continuing to mix at low speed, then beat with a spoon to ensure thorough mixing.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Bake in the middle of the oven for 60 to 70 minutes.
